We came about through Tell Tales Entertainment - which has been the leading Theatre-In-Education company for pre-schoolers throughout NSW for the last 18 years.  Julie Zommers created Tell Tales, along with the large repertoire of shows they perform.  Having started as a pre-school teacher herself, Julie masterfully structures her plays always with the children in mind, creating fun and fast paced stories which really capture young imaginations.  2007 marked the end of Tell Tales in-school performances - but happily not the end of these marvellous stories! Em’s Entertainment is taking over from where Tell Tales left off.  Our aim is to continue providing NSW pre-schools and kindergartens with professional quality children’s entertainment.

Emma comes from a professional theatre background, having completed tertiary studies in Acting (USQ, 2003) and Voice Studies (NIDA, 2004). She has worked predominantly as an actor for Tell Tales Entertainment since 2005, as well as pursuing work in other facets of the industry :  Assistant Director for Raise The Roof – the State Theatre Tsunami benefit, Swing Acting Coach for the child cast of Disney’s The Lion King (Capitol Theatre), as well as performing in several seasons of plays in and around Newtown.  She has also recently been appointed to staff at Sydney Theatre School - working as vocal coach for advanced students. 

Theatre is a medium which can really work well for children,  firing up their imaginations through storylines and characters.  Our aim is to give them confidence through their involvement in the shows, and most importantly to plant a few seeds in that fertile ground that is the child's mind. Ideas that may, in some small way, shape their thinking in the future.
